{"id":153,"date":"2007-12-26T16:07:04","date_gmt":"2007-12-26T21:07:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/iamtheweather.com\/2007\/12\/26\/personal-annual-report\/"},"modified":"2007-12-26T16:07:04","modified_gmt":"2007-12-26T21:07:04","slug":"personal-annual-report","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iamtheweather.com\/?p=153","title":{"rendered":"Personal Annual Report"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The last two\u00a0 Januaries have brought the release of <a href=\"http:\/\/feltron.com\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\">Nicholas Feltrons<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/feltron.com\/06report_index.html\" target=\"_blank\">Personal Annual Report<\/a>. And I anticipate this January we will see 2007&#8217;s version. I really like them as they sum up a years worth of living, more than 1% of ones life, into charts, graphs and symbols. Stripped of much of the stuff that make people interesting, their peopleness really, we are just a collection of data (presented in a wonderful info-graphic style) as google knows. With the raw data we can tell a story by filling in the blanks, making inferences and conjectures, building that person back to whole. I do not know Nicholas but what he has told me (and everyone) has allowed me to build up a pretty good character in my mind, which I am sure is wrong, as it would be because I made it up.<\/p>\n<p>The real reason for writing this, is that I am planning to attempt the kind of personal documentation achieve by Nicholas as part of my attempt at <a href=\"http:\/\/russelldavies.typepad.com\/planning\/2006\/11\/how_to_be_inter.html\" target=\"_blank\">being interesting<\/a>. It won&#8217;t be the only thing I will be doing, but it is the one that will require the most dedication.
